I've read the daily or weekly horoscope on and off for years - just for the fun of it. I've browsed the horoscopes in the grocery store while waiting in line. They really never seemed to apply to me, maybe once in a while but the odds are that eventually a guess will be right. Other than that, I've not paid much attention to Astrology, or Tarot, Numerology and the like.
The other day, as I was sufing the web, I happened upon theastrologysite.com web site. I browsed around a bit, reading articles on astrology, astrological charts, horoscopes and what not. I clicked on a few site. Most had an offer of a free reading. So, I clicked on the button, entered my date of birth, time and place of birth and waited. A few seconds later, a brief (teaser) reading appeared. There were two paragraphs, each promising more - for a small fee.
I read the two paragrphs, then I read them again. They were the most accurate 'reading' I have ever had. I hummed and hahhed then decided what the heck, and I clicked to receive the 'full meal deal'.
17 pages later, I have this report in my hand. It included the astrology chart and a reading based in that chart. It has proved to be a very interesting read. After going over it again quicky I decided to count the stuff that was right and the stuff that was way off or iffy. Almost 80% was right on. I was really surprised.
I read it again looking for areas where they might have thrown in everything but the kitchen sink - there really weren't any. There were some things that seemed contradictary but only a few.
I realize this is no doubt done from an Astrology data base of some sort. You can get horoscopes to cover several different time periods. I wonder how unique each horoscope is? or each reading for that matter? I'd think it would be a little less 'subjective' than a reading done in person, but more 'accurate' - if that term can be applied to such things?
I haven't gone back the the astrology site to get a horoscope yet and I haven't taken them up on their offer of talking with a professional astrologer.....yet. Who know?
